Emma had her first dressup at Ella's house. She took it quite seriously and was getting a little ticked that Dad wanted some pictures.

Getting there. Almost there. Tired.

It was just another nap for Emma.

It's automatic.

It was a great day of sitting around and making faces at each other.

9.14.08

I was taking too long to leave.

The typical morning starts off with Addi taking a crawl around the kitchen. I didn't realize her nose was nasty until after I took the picture.

Not So Active

Emma didn't quite make it through her cereal. Homework also became a lot easier.

Emma made a mess...err...an art piece yesterday. Britt's kitchen table was then sampled.

Transfer City

I have fallen behind on the kid's video footage. I have three tapes waiting to be transferred. I enjoy all the footage because I'm able to pinpoint when the kids picked up certain habits along with likes and dislikes.

These are pretty good looks for a baby who didn't sleep much last night.

This is Emma's "the war is on" look.

Addi is slowing starting to master the camera faces.

La La La

This was a post I put on the BeavinSlice blog but I thought I would share it here as well. This was in response to Dad's post. BTW, I hope the other Beavins can add to the blog as well. Dad knows how to access the site so ask him for help.

Dad, Mom is still beautiful. I think of her daily and especially during my Education classes. I know she would love to know I will be teaching soon.

This brings me to my point. I know this profession is where I should be. It's a little comical considering my constant "fear" of school to this day. But I know other students, young and old, have the same situation and that's why I know I'll be able to relate to them. The Lord works in strange ways and I am a perfect example of it. I'm sure most of the family was a little skeptical (I sure as crap was) of what I would become. Hopefully everyone kept an open mind and realized patience and time has been my best companion. I will continue to have the obstacles which may seem elementary to others but I'm determined to make a difference. Barking dogs, strange sounding condensers and pen clicking will probably always distract me but hopefully I'll be able to distract a few students from needless trouble.

I don't think I've ever been serious for this long. Well, Addi is refusing to sleep. The real comedy begins.

Rock Star

Emma looks strangely like a certain rock star.
